Wonderful poetry.

Liking Johnny's work (as always) and blown away by Margaret Beverland's:

unlocking
the gun cupboard
the wild in the dog's eyes

It's Jack London, and the wilderness in all of us.

Sheer magic, thanks to both poets!

Enjoyed both of these epiphany and the wild in the dog's eyes.

Johnny's poem is simply beautiful & Margaret's quite ominous & a bit troubling. Are the dog's eyes wild anticipating the hunt or has the dog gone wild & needs to be shot?

The stars were bright enough for sipping last night at our place.
