Today is the birthday of one of the most revered people on the planet: the Dalai Lama. Here is an Issa poem, one little candle on the cake of infinity:
--------------------------------------------------------------------
spring peace--
last year which tree root
was my pillow?
Issa
translated by David Lanoue
--------------------------------------------------------------------
May we all get his birthday wish.
best,
Don
