just saw a nature show on PBS tv ..

the dragonfly
is
one of the three
oldest
continuous living
things

(I forget the other two however:
it's not the cocker roach)

I've been working on a poem for a couple of years now about my father and the language of him. The grammar line in the first haiku makes me think of it.
