Wonderful haiku Rehn and Marion. Love them. Rachael
Thanks so much, Rachael. So happy you liked the work!
Your Issa choice gave me the first laugh of the day!
For some reason I like grackles, though they are loud mouthed and rather obnoxious in some ways.
Lovely, evocative pieces from both writers.
Thank you Rechael. I appreciate your kind words.
Enjoyed these very much - we just had some grackles visit our feeders this week. Always liked their name - as a small child my son called them crackles.
Lovely photos, too. Thanks, Don.

Glad you liked the Issa, Brian ... it's absolutely wonderful.
Grackles are a favorite of mine, too, Charles. They seem to just stand there ground ... something to be said for that. And then there is the sound ...
graaaccckllll
Eamon, Cheers, Eamon ...
Hats off, Rehn, to you and Marion.
Mary:
Crackles! I think that's right.
best,
Don
