Richard Brautigan: Complicated Banking Problem

Here's a short story/flash fiction piece by Richard Brautigan, entitled "Complicated Banking Problem." The young woman who reads it does a great job, though she is forced to look off center a bit too much (get that copy closer to the camera, folks!).

God, could we use Brautigan today ...

Hope you enjoy it.

best,
Don

I enjoyed that. Very surreal. I can sympathize with the woman, even if she's insane.

With the Brautigan references and the Drummers World links, this blog is growing ever more ... ummmm ... familiar.

Seriously, though, that little essay, with its subtle nod to the great depression, is very timely.

Charles, glad you liked it - for Brautigan, I believe the surreal was real -

Jim, ummm, I hope that is familiar in a good way ...
